1. "¿Mataron a Osama Bin Laden?

América puede hacer lo que se proponga. Esa es la historia de nuestro país. Somos una nación, bajo Dios, indivisible con libertad y justicia para todos, este fue el mensaje fundamentalista del presidente Barack Obama, al anunciar que Osama Bin Laden había sido asesinado por tropas estadounidenses, que actuaron sin previa autorización del gobierno de Pakistán, el país donde realizaron su operación ilegal.

La sigilosa operación, que demandó movilizar helicópteros y tropas, se realizó en la localidad de Abbottabad, a unos 50 km de la capital paquistaní, según explicó el presidente Obama y precisó que había durado 40 minutos y que murieron otras cuatro personas, dos correos de Bin Laden y un hijo del líder fundamentalista.

Obama también había dicho que sus tropas tenían el cadáver, que según los informes registraba un balazo en la cabeza-tiro de gracia- y además se había detenido a dos mujeres y algunos de sus hijos, que por supuesto nadie sabrá donde están, como los detenidos-desaparecidos en Guantánamo o en cualquiera de sus cárceles secretas, que conforman una de las mayores violaciones a los derechos humanos.

Pero esta “mañana medios estadounidenses anunciaron que el cadáver de Bin Laden fue arrojado al mar, señalando que la Operación llevada a cabo por un comando especializado, fue planeada y realizada en el más alto secreto y el gobierno paquistaní no fue informado hasta después de que tuviera lugar” (Télam 3 de mayo 2011 y otras agencias).

El cuerpo del jefe de Al Qaida fue sacado de la residencia en helicóptero y sepultado luego en alta mar, siguiendo los ritos musulmanes, informaron fuentes oficiales estadounidenses, en un final especial de novela negra.

Las cuidadosas tropas de Estados Unidos, especializadas en todo tipo de torturas, que en su momento Bush justificó públicamente, han sepultado en el mar a Bin Laden cumpliendo nada menos que un rito musulmán. Cualquier simple inspector de policía sospecharía de este final.

El atropello de la legislación internacional en Pakistán es más que evidente y responde a aquel anuncio apocalíptico de George W,Bush en 2001 donde declaraba al mundo unilateralmente la guerra preventiva, sin final y sin fronteras, anulando en su perspectiva –que hoy rescata Obama- la soberanía de todos los países del mundo.

Se dijo que Bin Laden resistió el ataque durante una hora antes de ser abatido por las fuerzas de elite estadounidenses y al respecto y según informó la cadena CNN, la misión del comando era la de matar al líder de Al Qaeda y no la de apresarle(Télam 2-5-11)

Por su parte la Comisión Europea (CE) consideró que su posición favorable a la muerte de Osama Bin Laden por las fuerzas estadounidenses no contradice los valores y principios de la Unión Europea (UE), que aboga por la libertad, la democracia y el fin de la pena de muerte a escala mundial.

Y continúa “no es la ejecución de una sentencia a muerte. Seguiremos estando en contra de la pena de muerte en el futuro", como declaró la portavoz comunitaria, Pia Ahrenkelde, al ser interrogada al respecto en rueda de prensa, según un cable de la agencia mexicana Notimex (2-5-11)
Pero por supuesto, alineada casi podría decirse colonizadamente con Washington, la CE remataba que "sin duda, su muerte está dentro del contexto de los esfuerzos globales para erradicar el terrorismo" y su vocera consideró que esto "hace que el mundo en el que vivimos sea más seguro aunque no implica el fin del terrorismo”.

Se le olvidó mencionar también que en otro lugar llamado Libia, se había matado a un hijo y a los nietos de un gobernante y a centenares de personas, mediante bombardeos absolutamente ilegales, porque la misión de la ONU , también ilegal porque se tomó sin esperar los informes de situación y sin analizar la presencia de extranjeros en territorio libio, era la exclusión aérea para evitar bombardeos que dañaran a la población civil.

Me atrevería a asegurar que nadie sabe a ciencia cierta que el cadáver con un disparo en la cabeza que deforma los rasgos hasta puntos irreconocibles sea el de Bin Laden. Y si lo arrojaron al mar será imposible saberlo.

Como nos han mentido en forma constante, incluso con la verdadera génesis del derrumbe de las Torres Gemelas en septiembre de 2001, tenemos todo el derecho a ponerlo en duda aunque Washington diga que el ADN certificó que es Bin Laden.

Se mintió descaradamente para invadir y ocupar IraK, se mintió de la misma manera sobre la supuesta gran rebelión popular contra Muammar El Khadafi en Libia, ya que luego por propia confesión de Obama y de acuerdo a The New York Times, agentes de la CIA fueron desplegados a fines de 2010 en Libia para contactar a los (presuntos) rebeldes y guiar los ataques de la coalición (30-3-11).

De acuerdo al periódico “los miembros de la central de inteligencia estadounidense habrían sido desplegados desde hace varias semanas en pequeños grupos en tierras libias, con la misión de establecer contacto con los rebeldes y determinar blancos de las operaciones militares. Decenas de miembros de las fuerzas especiales británicas y de agentes de espionaje MI6 trabajan en Libia, dice el periódico, recogiendo información sobre las posiciones y movimientos de las fuerzas leales a Gaddafi”.

Aañade que los empleados de la CIA son un número no conocido de funcionarios estadounidenses del servicio secreto que ya trabajaban en Trípoli o llegaron recientemente cita un artículo de Patria Grande tomando la fuente de The New York Times ( Socialista@yahoogroups.com, 3 de marzo de 2011)

Nuevamente estamos antes una enorme operación publicitaria de Washington en la que Estados Unidos intenta lograr que la atención pública se despegue de su brutal y reciente operación en Libia, matando niños.

Para esto nada mejor que una puesta en escena, similar a las que lograba Hitler en pleno auge del nazismo, cuando convocaba al pueblo alemán, sometido a la siniestra desinformación, planeada como un arma de dominación y paralización de esa población, por Joseph Goebbels, hoy multiplicado por miles y miles de sus imitadores que lo han superado largamente de la mano de la dictadura global de la desinformación.

Por supuesto en el anuncio con bombos y platillos de que finalmente después de 10 años mataron a Bin Laden, no recordaron que este había sido- y nadie sabe si seguía siéndolo- un hombre ligado a la CIA , quien bajo ese comando creó a los llamados talibanes de Al Qaeda, para combatir con guerrillas apoyadas por Estados Unidos a los soviéticos en Afganistán, en tiempos de la Guerra Fría.

Bin Laden y su familia fueron socios de grandes negocios de la familia Bush, y esta historia fue magníficamente contada por el cineasta estadounidense Michael Moore.

La incógnita sobre la verdad de estos hechos nos acompañará siempre o algún tiempo, el suficiente como para que ya sea un hecho consumado la invasión de todos los países que decida ocupar el imperio bajo el mandato de que América puede hacer lo que se proponga aunque sea acabar con la humanidad."

"Local pastor made up elaborate Navy SEAL tale

In the wake of the dramatic Navy SEAL raid on Osama bin Laden's compound earlier this month, it was perhaps to be expected that some expansive soul would step forward to claim the prestige of a fabricated tour as a SEAL for himself. Such tall tales are not uncommon, after all, amid high-profile military actions.

This time the exposed fabricator was a preacher--though people who monitor this brand of public lie note that members of the clergy are often tempted into such misrepresentations. More curious still, the prevaricator in question seems to have lifted at least some details of his account from the 1992 Steven Seagal SEAL-themed blockbuster, "Under Siege."

Yes, as his area newspaper, the central Pennsylvania Patriot-News, pulled together a dispatch on the exploits of the elite Navy operation, Jim Moats, the pastor at Christian Bible Fellowship Church in Newville, Penn., spun some fantastical details of his alleged time as a Navy SEAL during the Vietnam War.

Moats told his church for five years that he was a former SEAL, and even once wore the elite program's gold Trident medal around town. He elaborated on that tale when his local paper contacted him last week as it was reporting a story about the rigors of SEAL training in the wake of the SEAL raid on Osama bin Laden's compound.

Among other things, Moats said he was subjected to waterboarding when he trained at Little Creek Amphibious Base in Virginia Beach in 1971 and was assigned dishwashing duty for his bad attitude. "I had almost no discipline. I was as wild as they came. That was my nemesis," he told the paper. "They weren't looking for a guy who brags to everyone he is a SEAL. They wanted somebody who was ready but had an inner confidence and didn't have a braggadocio attitude."

Several former SEALs wrote into The Patriot-News casting doubt on the reverend's account of his service.

"We deal with these guys all the time, especially the clergy. It's amazing how many of the clergy are involved in those lies to build that flock up," said retired SEAL Don Shipley. Shipley also speculated the waterboarding and kitchen details came from the action depicted in "Under Siege."

Moats fessed up to his whopper, and admitted he bought the Trident medal at a military surplus store. "I never was in a class, I never served as an actual SEAL. It was my dream. ... I don't even know if I would have met the qualifications. I never knew what the qualifications were," he told the Patriot-News. Moats did serve in the Navy from 1970-74, but did not fight in Vietnam.

The paper, meanwhile, is unapologetic for printing Moats' prevarications.

"The Patriot-News regularly interviews veterans to tell their stories. We do not regularly ask those we interview for proof of their service, believing these men and women would not lie and dishonor those who have fought bravely defending our country," the paper said in a special note to readers about the incident.

The practice of claiming false military credentials is by no means confined to comparatively lesser known public figures such as Moats. Accusations of exaggeration and lies about military service dogged the last election cycle. In 2008, Senate candidates Mark Kirk and Richard Blumenthal were called out for exaggerating their military service, though both still won their races. Kirk's web site said he served "in Operation Iraqi Freedom," when he was serving stateside, and Blumenthal incorrectly suggested he served in Vietnam. And it's not just politicians. In 1996, the Navy's top officer committed suicide after he learned Newsweek was looking into why he wore two small bronze valor pins, which signify acts of valor in combat.

In 2005, President George W. Bush signed the Stolen Valor Act into law--legislation that made it a federal crime to claim false military honors. A recent federal appellate court ruling determined that the law's provisions were an unconstitutional abridgment of free speech. A version of the same legislation is now before Congress, with language designed to avoid the free-speech quandaries raised by the 2005 law.
